Greek Salad Dressing is Best with all the Spices!

Everybody knows how important it is to eat vegetables. No matter which style of eating or diet you prescribe to, they all have one thing in common: vegetables are good for you and you should be including them in as many meals as you can. And this lemon oregano greek salad dressing is the way to do it.

The issue I hear all the time is that vegetables get boring. They lack the flavor and excitement of other (less beneficial) dishes we enjoy. That could be because you’re used to eating hyper-palatable, pseudo foods that have turned our palates into processed addicts!

Or, it could also just be that you need a little more help and inspiration to keep things fresh (pun intended!) and exciting!

(Fresh) Seasonings Make Salad Dressings

Flavoring salads and veggies comes down to SEASONINGS. Fresh foods taste good once you get used to eating them, but they taste even better when combined with herbs, spices, fats, and acids. And that, my friend, is a dynamite template for a dressing!

Mind you, dressings aren’t just for salads. You could steam or grill some veggies and include a delicious dressing on top or for dipping. Or, you could make a salad and throw the dressing on top. And, not all salads have to have lettuce! How about a simple chopped salad with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and jicama?

One of my great go-to flavors for fresh foods is Greek. This salad dressing has a nice balance of lemon, garlic, and herbs, and just enough zing to keep your tastebuds happy. No more store-bought dressings: enjoy this greek salad dressing made from scratch!
